Please donate if you can

"On behalf of all the players at West Ham United, I would like to wish Chris good luck with the Dribblethon event. I am sure it will be a great success and by the end of the event, I am sure he will be an expert in dribbling the ball as well as having raised lots of money for such a worthy cause!

The Richard House Children's Hospice is a charity close to our hearts here at West Ham and we are delighted that money raised from an event like this will further help the hospice to carry on the vital work and support they give to so many terminally-ill youngsters and their families."

West Ham United and England U-21 midfielder

The Londondribblethon needs your donation to help reach its target of raising £10,000.

75% of monies raised will go towards helping Richard House Children's Hospice continue to provide respite, palliative and end-of-life care for terminally ill children which requires an annual fund raising effort of £2m.

The remaining 25% of money raised will go to support grass roots football through Forest Glade Football Club. This will help the club 'increase participation' in community football by getting at least one girls team affiliated to the FA and develop a plan for providing disabled football through the Essex FA's Soccability scheme and acheive Charter Standard Communtiy Club status.

Our aim is to ensure that every penny we raise goes towards these two good causes. We hope to achieve this by securing logistical sponsors and utilising our team of dedicated volunteers.

A lasting legacy

Chris has supported Richard House through Give As You Earn since 2001. This is a very easy and efficient way to support charities on an on-going basis as your donation comes directly from your pre-tax salary and can be as little as a few pounds a month. Please consider joining this scheme as this means our efforts will extend beyond this event and provide a fantastic charity with continual support.
