Richard House Children's Hospice

"The Dribblethon is a fantastic initiative. It caught our imagination straight away and we are delighted that Chris has decided to work with us here at Richard House Children's Hospice. "To dribble a ball for 26.2 miles will be a great achievement and his idea has helped inspire hundreds of others to get involved too. A big thank you to Chris and everyone else who will be taking part in this fun event"

—Peter Ellis, Chief Executive, Richard House

Richard House is London's first children's hospice. They support children and their families and provide respite, palliative and end-of-life care for children and young people between 0-19 years old who are not expected to live into adulthood. Over the past eight years they have provided care to hundreds of life-limited and life-threatened children, such as children with rare and incurable cancers, children with degenerative genetic conditions, or children waiting for major organ transplants.

They offer day care, short stays in their residential area, support in the home and family support, including befriending and bereavement services. Care is provided completely free to families. This means that this year the hospice needs to raise around £2m in donations to provide these valuable services. Richard House is dependent upon the generosity and hard work of all of its supporters and volunteers.

Richard House Children's Hospice is a registered charity, No. 1059029. It is also a company limited by guarantee, No. 3232837 - England & Wales.
